Hi there,Well, I guess that travel abroad is a good option to have a unforgetable vacation and above that, to celebrate your honeymoon. I´m used to travel a lot, so I think I can give you some tips.
My last trip was to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I went there on vacations and it was my first time in Rio. It is a wonderful city, that amazed me a lot. There you can find a variety of things to do. If you want to relax, you have the Copacabana beach, that is a wonderful place to just lay down and enjoy a sunbathing. But since you said you don´t want to do it, there are also a thousand other things to do, such as visiting the most amazing sights ever. I can´t describe how beautiful the Corcovado is and the view from there. You can see almost all of Rio de Janeiro city. There is also the Tijuca Forest, that you can visit and go hiking, the Sugar Loaf, Santa Teresa, etc. At night, there are lots of excellent places to go, such as bars and restaurants, and if you want to go out dancing, Rio de Janeiro has lot of nightclubs where you can enjoy yourself and have fun! The Wikipedia has a nice description of Rio de Janeiro: Click Here
I can recommend a website for you to take a look, that is the one I visited, and it helped me a lot. It is from a member of the largest sustainable online tourism company, and they have a local office in Rio de Janeiro, what I think, helps a lot, because they know everything around there and they can indicate the best hotels and the best places to go. There you can check on the hotels and on a lot of tours offered by them, and one of them is the Arraial do Cabo Scuba Diving. I think you will enjoy it.
To get more info, check the website: www.riodejaneiro-hotels.travel. They are really great and I am very satisfied.
Hope I could help you planning your trip! Have a great trip anyways.
Kisses.

Hi, being active is a good idea, you must also take into consideration if the airline you intend to travel with will take you being of 250lbs, more and more obese people are unfortunately finding it difficult to travel due to the restrictions the airlines place on travelers, so do keep that in mind. You will experience some difficulties with the activities you wish to do but you just have to accept some activities are weight restricted, but water sports should not be a problem. That said, how far out of the US do you want to travel? Have you been to Asia? If not it's a whole new experience, culture and sometimes a little bit of a culture shock but worth the visit just the same.
Sri Lanka has just about all that you are looking for, beach, water-sports, sun, culture, wildlife to name a few. The cost of living is low compared with Europe so you $ will go a lot further. Serendib guest house Negombo is near a tourist resort, beach, shops, restaurants etc., and it also has a swimming pool, the place is run by a European lady who can arrange tours at your request. Either google serendib guest house or go to www.serendibguesthouse.com take a look and you will see what I'm talking about Sri Lanka is such a varied beautiful island.
Where ever you go have a great honeymoon.

I am a 250 Pound guy. I am a passionate Scuba Diver. My Scuba Diving gear is something I can purchase of the shelf XL. I have seen numerous heavy people scuba dive. Your weight for the most part will not restrict you from most activities. I have traveled all over the world doing different things for our activities. My weight have not been a restriction any where. So here are some things I have done, Scuba Diving, Snorkeling, Para sailing, Balloon Flights, Helicopter Flights (in Hawaii), etc. You mention - Water & Jet Skiing, you will need the skills to do it, you weight will not be the biggest issue. Water Skiing, you will need your upper body strength to pull yourself up from the water surface as the boat speeds up. Once you get this technique down you will be water skiing. Jet Skiing for instance requires balance skills like bicycle - however the tougher part is to be able to get back on the jet ski in the middle of the water if you fall off.So, don't feel like you have restrictions. Sign up for the stuff that you like to do. If there is a weight restriction for some activities it will posted and you will know before you sign up. Have a great time on your vacation - learn and do some scuba diving, I think you will like it. If you want to learn Scuba Diving check out the website below to know what to expect.
