Try a beaches resort - plenty for kids and adults. They are all inclusive so you won't have to pull out your wallet every time a kid wants a soda or hamburg. It's great to get the cost all paid and out of the way so the only thing you'll need to pay extra for are tips, extra excursions the resort does not provide, and any incidentals you forgot to pack. Any Caribbean place will be beautiful as long as the beach is what you're looking for. You won't be spending that much time in the actual room so that shouldn't be your number one priority when shopping around.
